Sunrise

I enjoy painting in contrasts - it reflects my life. I figure that once you let go and accept that a good balance of contrasts in life are necessary, things become so much more interesting and relaxing. Just look at a sunrise. Closeup, it’s intense, chaotic, and blindingly powerful. Stand further away, and you begin to see a calm order and soft colors. It completely and effortlessly takes shape - all without strain or stress.
